This is my seventh year teaching at Davis Senior High. Prior to coming to Davis I attended Chico State University  where I received my  Agriculture teaching credential. I grew up on a twenty acre ranch in Esparto and have been very involved in agriculture my entire life. I was an active 4-H  and FFA member throughout my youth. I raised a flock of sheep and enjoyed competing in many FFA leadership events.   The experiences that I had in the FFA program motivated me to become an agriculture teacher. It has been my greatest pleasure to come to Davis and bring those opportunities and spread the enthusiasm for agriculture to the students of this community. I would like to welcome all new and returning students to the program. I am looking foreword to a great year filled with some exciting field trips and fun activities outside of the class. The agriculture program offer students unique opportunities to gain real world experiences. My challenge to each of you is to get the most out of what is offered this year and take advantage of many of these possibilities.
